Practicing Ashtanga Yoga has brought enormous changes in my life, in my body, mind and spirit. Over time, this practice has become and continues to be a vehicle for growth, self-understanding and overall peace of mind. More than anything this practice has taught me how to let go, to be fully present.
Every morning as I get onto my mat and become centered in my breath, I am reminded to be totally present. I like to think that this extends into the rest of my day- constantly grounding myself in the present moment.
I am happy to have been taught this practice by many fabulous teachers, foremost being Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and his grandson Sharath Rangaswamy in Mysore, India. Having seen the transformative power of this practice in myself, I feel honoured and happy to bring it to others so that they can experience it in their own lives.
