WELCOME TO THE YOGA SHALA!
We wish to make your experience at our studio as pleasant and comfortable as possible. If you are new to the studio please arrive at least 15 minutes before class starts (factor in traffic time and the fact that our parking is often full); when you arrive your first time you will need to fill out a waiver form. Some of our classes are very busy and they all run on a first come - first served basis - we do not take reservations online. If you arrive to a locked door it means that class is full and/or you arrived late. Please leave your shoes at the front door and turn off your cell phone!!! We ask that you keep your conversations quiet and outside of the practice studio, to maintain the tranquility and allow others to enjoy some peace and quiet.
Our amazing instructors are all very approachable and have your best interests at heart. Please do communicate with the instructor prior to class if you are injured, sick or pregnant (or just to say hi!).
If you are new to yoga and want to learn a vigorous, flowing style of practice which will strengthen and detoxify your body, we highly recommend you start with one of our drop in Beginner Ashtanga classes (see times below). For those early risers who want a daily committment, our morning Mysore program is an ideal way for all levels of student to learn the practice as it is taught in India.
