Getting into yoga a little older (and tighter) has given me an appreciation for the challenges many newcomers face. Over the past few years I've become much more aware of the many positive effects this practice has on my life, both mentally and physically – this keeps me coming back to my mat day after day.
I look forward to the many lessons to come, and am excited to assist others in whatever small way I can. I hope to help people understand that touching your toes is not as important as a sincere effort with the right intentions.
I've had the great fortune of surrounding myself and practicing with many wonderful teachers, students and friends in the Ashtanga tradition. I owe a big thank-you to Dana, who used to have to drag me to practice.
Now she has to drag me out of the Shala most days.
