"Practice and all is coming"

My yoga journey first began in the year 2000, when I discovered Ashtanga Yoga. While I was immediately intrigued by the physical challenge, it was the mental discipline of connecting the mind, body and spirit that kept me coming back to my mat. From that point, I was hooked. I continued my practice with many amazing teachers local to Calgary and have also had the opportunity to practice with international teachers such as Nancy Gilgoff, Fiona Stang and Bryan Kest.
In October 2010 I decided to take my practice futher and enrolled in the Strength and Soul Teacher-Training Program with Kim Wiebe. I am eternally grateful for Kim's guidance and encouragement, which helped to lead me to the place I am at today.
Over the years the journey on my mat has assisted me in countless ways; both expected and unexpected. It has softened my heart, opened my mind and given me an abundance of gratitude. I believe that we all have vast inner strength. It is my intention to empower people to connect with this strength and to enable the practice of yoga to enhance their journey through life.
